My work in sculpture can be plainly described as a laboratory on the human condition, on our relationship to the world, looking at our determinisms through the making of objects, installations and video. Clearly using analogical forms, my work ranges from large-scale installations to small objects, whether it uses found material, transformed or designed environments. This diversity enables me to reveal our inability to be free by examining our subordination to pre-determined systems and phenomena. The process as a whole suspends various forms of behavior and activity, then isolates their applications inside normative apparatus, developing implosive structures, chambers, closed furniture, short-circuited objects tinged by absence and vacancy. They soon display signs of dysfunction, inadequate or excessive performance. It seems once again, that at the end, it touches on desolation when conjunction is impossible.
