Gülşin Ketenci (1975) graduated as a mathematical engineer at Istanbul Technical University. She started her career as photographer in the year 2004. With her photographs, she participated  in several exhibitions. Ketenci is working as a member of the photo agency NarPhotos. Besides that, she persues her own photographic projects and is involved in documentary film producing.
As a feminist photographer, she tries to develop a methodology with a feminist point of view at every step of the process while developing photo / video productions. In particular, she tries to produce photographic stories to make women’s labor more visible in every area.
Her previous photography works on domestic labor, women politicians and women footballers are concrete examples of her interest in this topic. She is currently working on a project about female athletes in Turkey that is traditionally defined as “male/masculine sports” that are built upon body/power.
