Was born in Abadan (Iran) in 1953. In 1976, she completed a course in accountancy at Teheran University and then worked as a teacher of accountancy and commercial arithmetic at a technical college until 1983. She was employed as head accountant at the Institute of Accountancy and Management Services Separ from 1983 to 1986. She has lived in Berlin since 1989. After further study at the Deutsche Angestellten Akademie, she was assistant administrator of Künstlerhaus Bethanien GmbH from 1994 to 1997, becoming administrator responsible for financial and personnel matters herself in 1998. In Iran she has published two books about accountancy and commercial arithmetic.
